AB  - This dataset is a collection of soil water content observations from 1954-1960 in the runoff field of Xindian Gully, the first sub-region of the Loess Hills and Gullies. The soil water content of runoff plots with different soil and water conservation measures was observed in the Xindian Gully runoff field.The runoff field is described in the "Sindian Gully Runoff Field Fact Sheet", with the main monitoring indicators being "field number", "measurement", sampling time, soil water content at measurement points (%) "vertical average soil water content (%)", "precipitation between measurements (mm)", day, hour, sampling depth (cm) 0-10, 10-20, 20-30, 30-50.
