The data is from the natural conditions and resources of the Soviet Socialist Republic of Kazakhstan published in 1982 by the geodetic and cartographic Department of the former Soviet Union and the school of geography of the former Kazakh suvier University. The data in the book was obtained from 1976 to 1982 and translated by professional translators and geographers.
