The snow characteristic analyzer is mainly used to observe snow parameters. One of the purposes of the pre-test is to test the applicability of the instrument in the study area. The other is to obtain the snow parameter data required for the inversion verification of Aerospace Satellite Remote Sensing synchronous test and other control tests. The observation contents of snow characteristic analyzer include: 1) Directly observed physical quantities: resonance frequency, attenuation and 3 dB bandwidth 2) Indirectly observed physical quantities: snow density, snow complex dielectric constant (including real part and imaginary part), snow volume water content and snow weight water content. The pre-test period includes five folders (each folder contains original data and preprocessed data with corresponding data description), which are the snow characteristic analyzer observation data on December 5, bg-a MODIS synchronous observation data on December 6 and 7, bg-b, bg-c, bg-d and bg-e data sets on December 10, and the observation data in bg-d with microwave radiometer on December 14 and 16.
