AB  - The data set (spatial resolution: 50km) of carbon pool distribution in arid areas of China from 1980 to 2014 was obtained by collecting three sets of meteorological data, namely, merra, era interim and CFSR, which were used to drive the AEM of arid area ecological model, and the data quality was analyzed and evaluated with the existing literature. This data set mainly includes the grid map of carbon pool distribution (merra, era interim and CFSR) in China's arid areas from 1980 to 2014. The study area covers an approximate spatial range of 30 ° n – 50 ° N and 70 ° e – 110 ° e, including Xinjiang, northwest Gansu and southwest Inner Mongolia. The spatial resolution is 50km, and the geographical coordinate system is wgs1984
