It is an ionospheric detection instrument developed by the University of Massachusetts Lowell. It can simultaneously measure the amplitude, phase, delay, frequency, Doppler shift, arrival angle and polarization angle of the ionospheric echo. The measured results are recorded on the data stream tape in digital form. At present, the file format is dat text format, including the hour value of 15 parameters. This data set is the data of digital ionospheric altimeter from 2001 to 2015 at Zhongshan station, Antarctica, China.
