%X This data set is the soil moisture content observation data of runoff field of different geomorphic types in Qiaogou watershed, the first sub region of Loess Hilly and gully region from 1986 to 1990. Qiaogou watershed is located in Suide County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, which belongs to the first tributary of peijiamaogou (the first tributary of Wuding River). In this data set, the soil water content of eight runoff plots with different geomorphic types in Qiaogou was observed. Soil samples were collected every day, and the samples were measured on the day of precipitation, but not on the day of no precipitation. The basic situation of runoff field is shown in the description of runoff field of different geomorphic types in Qiaogou from 1986 to 1990. The main monitoring indicators include: field number, measurement times, sampling date, "soil moisture content (%) sampling depth 0-10cm", "precipitation between two measurements (mm)", month and day.
